More brands, more possibilities

HEIDENHAIN ITALIANA is now directly distributing heavy-duty rotary encoders from LEINE LINDE, as well as slip rings and resolvers from LTN, giving customers in Italy a single regional partner for solutions from eight brands. For the first time, all of these brands will be exhibiting together at the HEIDENHAIN ITALIANA trade-show booth at SPS Italia.

LEINE LINDE FSI 862: Simply safe

The FSI 862 incremental rotary encoder from LEINE LINDE is certified for use in SIL2 and PLd applications, providing built-in functional safety for your engineering challenge. With a slip-free, hollow-shaft design and a ceramic bearing, the FSI 862 is ideal for motors in high-disturbance environments such as applications in the steel and paper industries. The encoder's built-in safety functions eliminate the need for back-up encoders and additional sensors, thereby saving space, cabling and installation work.

LEINE LINDE IHA 648:
Durable in explosive atmospheres

Featuring ATEX und IECEx certification, the IHA 648 absolute multiturn rotary encoder from LEINE LINDE was developed for heavy-duty onshore and offshore applications. Its robust design includes a stainless steel housing and inductive scanning technology, which reliably delivers accurate position data unperturbed by heat, cold, dirt, vibration, moisture, salt water and mechanical shock loads.

LEINE LINDE ISA 608 und IHA 608: Compact and robust

A defining feature of the LEINE LINDE 600 series rotary encoders is their compact, highly rugged design. A wide range of variants are available, providing solutions for any application where rotary encoders need to withstand high loads. At SPS Italia, this modular product family will be represented by the ISA 608 solid-shaft absolute inductive model and the IHA 608 hollow-shaft version.

Slip rings from LTN: Reliable transmission technology

Slip rings from LTN are found in many applications that require the dependable transmission of data, power and electrical signals from stationary to rotating systems. Electrical performance can range from a few mA or mV to many hundreds of amps or thousands of volts. Applications encompass everything from video image transmission and packaging machines to wind turbines. LTN slip rings can withstand harsh environments, including corrosive, salty air and strong vibration, thereby ensuring reliable operation of the overall system.

Resolvers from LTN: Robust position feedback

As angular motion sensors, resolvers from LTN provide motor feedback in many industrial applications. These brushless systems ensure reliable, wear-free motion control. They are particularly useful in challenging environments such as mining, industrial robots and mobile automation solutions. And resolvers have another benefit: by providing absolute position signals within a single revolution, they don't require referencing upon switch-on.

New at SPS: ECI 123 Splus
Rotary encoder with built-in vibration analysis

Featuring a built-in accelerometer, the new HEIDENHAIN ECI 123 Splus inductive rotary encoder delivers position feedback and vibration analysis on rotating machine elements. By detecting and analyzing critical vibrations early on, the new encoder supports online condition monitoring in high-wear automation systems.

For even more condition data, the ECI 123 Splus supports up to three connected external temperature sensors. The EnDat 3 interface handles all data transmission to downstream electronics. Thanks to its added functionality, the ECI 123 Splus saves on additional sensors, reduces cabling and makes installation easier.
